Dear Recipients,
On behalf of the Hungarian Data Protection Authority as host of this year’s Conference of European Data Protection Authorities (also known as the Spring Conference) we would like to inform you that the first time ever an open day will be held, giving the opportunity for data protection professionals outside the DPAs to join the European Data Protection Authorities at their conference. The open day of the Spring Conference will take place on 12th of May 2023, Budapest, focusing on the topic of DPOs:
I. Panel: DPO-DPA Relationship
II. Panel: DPO training and network
III. Panel: DPO’s Role within the Organization
The open day will be a hybrid event, hence it will be possible for you to follow it remotely or join the European Data Protection Authorities in person in Budapest. Please note, that given the limited seating capacity of the Venue, registrations for the in-person participation will be reviewed considering the territorial diversification of the participants from all over Europe. If for this reason we cannot accommodate you in person, then remote participation will be offered to you.
If you are interested in joining the European Data Protection Authorities at the open day, then please register at the following website under the “register as an open day participant” tab: https://springconference2023.hu/, where you will be able to choose your preferred way of participation. Registration is possible until the 27th of April, 2023.
The open day is free of cost and provides a great opportunity to meet with the European Data Protection Authorities in person, and with other DPOs from various regions from Europe.
